CAYCE, S.C. – The 2023 BIG EAST Tennis Championship Presented by Jeep returns to the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center in Cayce, S.C. from April 20-23. The women’s competition kicks off Thursday with first serve scheduled for 9 a.m.
 
Reigning women’s champion, Xavier, earned the tournament’s top seed while Creighton claimed the men’s premiere slot. DePaul and Creighton round out the women’s top three seeds, respectively. In the men’s competition, St. John’s earned the second seed while Georgetown was awarded the third.

The Xavier women and DePaul men each enter the week in search of their third consecutive Championship titles. Last season, Xavier defeated DePaul, 4-0, in the women’s title match while the Blue Demons took down St. John’s, 4-2, for the crown.
 
Competition begins each day at 9 a.m., with a trio of first round matches on the women's side scheduled for Thursday morning. The men's tournament begins with quarterfinal action at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.
 
The Men's and Women's Championship matches will be streamed live on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) on FloSports. Live coverage of the Women's Championship will begin on Sunday at 9 a.m. ET, while the live broadcast of the Men's Championship kicks off at 1 p.m.
