BIG EAST Women’s Singles Player of the Week
Natalie Boesing, Sr., Butler (New Albany, Indiana)
Boesing collected three straight set victories while playing at No. 1 singles. The senior opened the week with a 7-5, 6-2 win over UIndy’s Dianne Flament on Wednesday (W, 4-2). She followed this with a 6-4, 6-3 defeat of Eastern Michigan’s Daniella Shved on Friday (W, 4-1). On Saturday, Boesing bested Valparaiso’s Moira Silva 6-3, 6-0 (W, 4-3).
 
BIG EAST Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Maria Constantinou (Jr., Nicosia, Cyprus) & Olivia Wright (Jr., Glen Allen, Virginia), UConn
Constantinou and Wright went 2-0 while playing at first doubles this week. The pair defeated Stony Brook’s Elena Lobo0Corral and Kristi Boro, 6-3, to clinch the doubles point in a 5-2 Husky victory. Versus Rutgers, the duo defeated Minchae Kim and Mai Nguyen, 6-3, while once again clinching the doubles point (L, 2-5).
 
BIG EAST Men’s Singles Player of the Week
Matteo Iaquinto, Jr., DePaul (Palermo, Italy)
Ianquinto went undefeated at the H.E.B. Tournament of Champions. The junior earned a hard-fought victory over UT-Arlington’s Meethre Barot [7-6 (7-1), 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-4)], contributing an essential win at No. 3 singles to DePaul’s 4-3 team triumph. Playing at No. 2 singles, Iaquinto bested Louisiana’s Samuel Kyjaci 6-3, 6-2.
 
BIG EAST Men’s Doubles Team of the Week
Leon Huck (Gr., Freiburg, Germany) & Sven Moser (Jr., Bern, Switzerland), DePaul
Huck and Moser picked up a pair of victories at the H.E.B. Tournament of Champions. First, the duo defeated UT-Arlington’s Pedro Sasso and Andres Medus, 6-3. The following day, the teammates toppled Louisiana’s Oriol Fillat Gimenez and Samuel Kyiaci, 6-3.
