127 Student-Athletes Earn All-BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Honors

2024 All-BIG EAST Team - Indoor Track & Field

NEW YORK – Following their performances at the 2024 BIG EAST Indoor Track & Field Championships presented by JEEP, 127 student-athletes across nine schools were named to the All-BIG EAST Team. The All-BIG EAST squad is made up of BIG EAST competitors who finished in the top three in any individual or relay event at the championship. This season’s meet was held February 23-24 at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center at Gately Park in Chicago.

On the list of 64 women and 63 men were 32 athletes (16 women, 16 men) who earned all-conference recognition in multiple events. Butler’s Luke Finnegan, Connecticut’s Kasey Savage, and Georgetown’s Maya Drayton led all competitors with three All-BIG EAST certificates apiece. Finnegan finished second in the 60m and 200m and was the anchor for the Bulldogs on their 4x400m relay team that placed third. Savage earned a second-place finish in the triple jump, while taking the bronze in the high jump and the long jump. Drayton took the gold in the 200m, while finishing second in the 400m and running the anchor leg for the Hoyas’ 4x400 relay squad that took second as well.

UConn swept both team indoor titles for the third consecutive year, finishing with 25 All-BIG EAST honorees, including 15 on the men’s side and 10 on the women’s side. Villanova and DePaul tied for the most All-BIG EAST nods on the women’s side with 12, while Butler claimed the second-most on the men’s side with 13.
