NEW YORK – Treva Dodd of Butler and Kelly Wu of St. John's were named BIG EAST Female Golfers of the Week, while Cayse Morgan of Xavier and Barnes Blake from Georgetown were selected as BIG EAST Male Golfers of the Week.  

Dodd earned medalist honors at the Dayton Flyer Invitational, while leading the Bulldogs to the team title.  She posted an aggregate score of 218 (+5).  Wu claimed medalist honors at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational, finishing the rain-shortened tournament at 4-under (136) as the Red Storm placed second as a team.

On the men's side, Morgan posted the lowest score to-par by a Xavier golfer since 2012.  The freshman fired a 9-under 204, pacing the Musketeers to the team title at the Moraine Intercollegiate in Dayton, Ohio.  Blake claimed his first collegiate individual win at the Georgetown Intercollegiate at 1-over, guiding the Hoyas to the team title in a rain-shortened 36-hole tournament.

BIG EAST Female Golfers of the Week

Treva Dodd, Butler, So.
Dodd won her second tournament of the fall, capturing the Dayton Flyer Invitational.  The sophomore registered a three-round total score of 218 (+5) at the NCR Country Club south course. Her best round came during the first 18 holes of competition - a 1-under 70.  Led by Dodd, the Bulldogs were victorious as a team.

Kelly Wu, St. John's, Sr.
Wu won the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational, finishing the rain-shortened 36-hole tournament at 4-under (136).  She opened play with a personal-best 67 and finished as the only golfer in the field to go under par in both rounds.  Wu's outstanding play led the Red Storm to runner-up honors on the team leaderboard.

BIG EAST Male Golfers of the Week

Cayse Morgan, Xavier, Fr.
Morgan became the first Xavier golfer to finish at 9-under par or lower since 2012, cruising to medalist honors at the Moraine Intercollegiate in Dayton, Ohio.  Morgan carded a trio of 68's, giving him an aggregate score of 204 and helping the Musketeers take the team title.  This was Morgan's first collegiate victory.

Barnes Blake, Georgetown, Jr.
Blake earned his first collegiate victory, finishing the rain-shortened 36-hole Georgetown Intercollegiate with a 1-over 143.  After an opening round 76, Blake used a second round 67 (-4) to force a match of cards tiebreaker. Blake's 67 was the low round of the tournament.  The Hoyas won the team title by seven strokes.

Women's Notes: Butler posted a five-shot victory at the Dayton Flyer Invitational - its final tournament of the 2025 fall season...the Bulldogs defended their team title, having also captured first place in 2024...St. John's finished second (596) - three strokes off the winner - at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational at Normanside C.C. in Delmar, N.Y....the tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to weather...Seton Hall was sixth at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational, led by Marta Aguilar's tie for eighth place...Providence was 11th at the Quinnipiac Classic, as senior Gwendolyn Yarnall tied for 27th place overall...Katharine Marshall tied for seventh - her second top 10 finish in the last three tournaments - and Creighton finished third as a team at the Big O Classic.

Men’s Notes: Drew Schauenberg tied for sixth and was one of two Hoyas among the top 10 en route to the team win at the Georgetown Intercollegiate...all five Georgetown scorers finished inside the top 20...Villanova was sixth at the Georgetown Intercollegiate...Matt Zerfass led the Wildcats, tying for 15th place while Vibhav Alokam tied for 20th...UConn was led by Bradley Sawka and Connor Goode, who finished 24th and 28th respectively at the Moraine Intercollegiate...the Huskies finished 12th as a team...Providence was fifth among the 12-team field at the Bash in the Boro, in Statesboro, Ga...three Friars finished among the top 20 - Joe Halferty (t16), Campbell Skelly (t20), Will Spring (t20)...Seton Hall was 13th at the 2025 Bryson Invitational...the Pirates' Eli Shah was 4-under for the tournament (212), tying for 17th place overall
