In the national rankings, UConn held firm at No. 3 in both the AP Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll released on Monday. In addition, St. John’s ranks No. 14 in the AP and No. 16 in the USA Today rankings. Also receiving votes are Georgetown and Creighton.
The Huskies face a top-five challenge on Wednesday night, when UConn welcomes No. 4 Arizona to Gampel Pavilion.
