BIG EAST Player and Freshman of the Week
Jack Ransom, Georgetown, Fr., A (Charlotte, N.C.)
Ransom continued his hot streak with a record breaking performance at Villanova over the weekend. The freshman attacker scored nine goals to set the BIG EAST record for tallies in a game, recently held by a multitude of players at eight. The nine tallies is also tied for the most in a Division I game this season and is one shy of the Georgetown program record. In addition, he collected four ground balls and caused a turnover. Overall, Ransom has tallied 15 goals and an assist in his last two appearances, improving his season marks to 26 goals and an assist.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Lucas Lawas, Marquette, Jr., G (Horseheads, N.Y.)
Lawas made 12 saves as Marquette secured a berth in the BIG EAST Championship semifinals with an 18-11 win over Denver on Friday at Valley Fields. Lawas made nine saves in the second half, including five in the fourth quarter against the Pios. The native of Horseheads, N.Y., averaged 13.4 saves per game in BIG EAST action.
BIG EAST Specialist of the Week
Adam Slager, Marquette, R-So., FOS (Sloughton, Wis.)
Slager won 14-of-22 faceoffs and picked up 10 ground balls in the victory over Denver. He also dished out his first assist of the season at the 9:17 mark of the opening quarter, leading Nolan Rappis to his first goal of the day.

Seamus Foley, Georgetown, Gr., D
Foley posted a career-high four caused turnovers in the Hoyas win over Villanova to secure the top-seed in the BIG EAST Championship Presented by Jeep.
Nolan Rappis, Marquette, Sr., A
Rappis tied a career-high with five goals, in addition to collecting an assist and causing a turnover in a win over Denver.
Ryan Bell, Providence, Sr., A
Bell was all over the stat sheet in a 16-10 win over St. John’s, scoring two goals, dishing out six assists, collecting a pair of ground balls and causing a turnover.
Jack Horrigan, Providence, Sr., A
Horrigan led the offensive attack on Friday with seven goals, in addition to picking up two ground balls and forcing a turnover.
Patrick Scarborough, St. John’s, Gr., G
Scarborough collected a career-high 19 saves and tallied his first career assist in the setback against Providence.
