BIG EAST Player of the Week
London Jarrard, Sr., SS, St. John’s
Jarrard helped lead the Red Storm to a perfect 4-0 week with an outstanding .615 batting average at the plate. The senior crushed three home runs, scored six runs, collected five RBI and earned three walks over the four games. Jarrard registered two hits in all four contests, and in a trio of wins over DePaul, she batted 6-for-9 with two home runs, four runs and three RBI.
 
BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week
Loreley Francia, Jr., P, St. John’s
In 13.0 innings of work, Francia led St. John’s to a pair of wins over Wagner and DePaul, allowing just five hits and striking out 17 batters with a 1.08 ERA. In six innings at Wagner, the junior struck out 10 and gave up two hits in a 9-0 triumph. In a 5-2 win over DePaul, she struck out seven.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Naya Martinez, Fr., INF, Seton Hall
Martinez had a pair of three RBI games to cap a 3-2 week for The Hall with four runs scored and seven RBI. In a midweek doubleheader against Army, she registered a run and an RBI to help lead the Pirates to a pair of wins. In a 6-5 set back to the Friars, she collected her first home run and drove in 3 RBI. Closing out the series with an 8-2 win, she added three more RBI.
 
Honor Roll
Lexi Hastings, Sr., OF, UConn
Hastings slashed .467/.800/.500 on 15 at bats, recording a pair of doubles, a home run, five RBI, along with scoring three runs. Defensively she posted 10 putouts and a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Lily West, Jr., C, Creighton
West led Creighton to a 3-1 week batting .429 with a pair of home runs, five runs scored and driving in 12 RBI. She drove in at least three runs in all three conference games over the weekend.
Kenzie Schopfer, Sr., P, Creighton
Schopfer posted a 0.98 ERA, picking up a pair of shutout wins in three appearances this week. Overall, Schopfer held opponents to 12 hits and a .231 batting average, logging nine strikeouts in 14.1 innings of work.
Tori Grifone, Gr., P, Providence
In 11.2 innings of work, Grifone posted a 1-0 record and capped the weekend with a 1.20 ERA, collecting three strikeouts and allowing just eight hits.
Kat Gallant, Jr., P, Villanova
Gallant dominated the circle during two starts, striking out 16 batters in 15 innings. She pitched two complete game victories, accumulating a 2.80 ERA.
