BIG EAST Women’s Singles Player of the Week
Alicia Gomez, Gr., St. John’s (Onda, Spain)
Gomez went 2-0 at No. 6 singles, defeating FGCU’s Cecili Johannessen Maeland in straight sets (6-1, 6-3) and coming from behind to defeat Miami Ohio’s Lovisa Valentinsson, 1-6, 6-2, 6-2. The graduate student’s victory over Valentinsson helped the Red Storm defeat the Red Hawks, 6-1, on Sunday.

BIG EAST Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Alicia Gomez (Gr., Onda, Spain) & Abi Redman (Fr., Widnes, England)
Gomez and Redman went 2-0 on the week while competing at No. 3 doubles. The duo defeated FGCU’s Sabarina Jaramillo and Ashley Matz, 7-5, before overcoming Miami Ohio’s Maria Komar and Avery Voss, 6-1.

BIG EAST Men’s Singles Player of the Week
Arthur O’Sullivan, Sr., Georgetown (Waterford, Ireland)
Playing at No. 1 singles, A. O’Sullivan defeated Old Dominion’s Yanis Moundir in straight sets (6-2, 6-4).

BIG EAST Men’s Doubles Team of the Week
Joshua Lamm-Bocharov (Fr., Gibsonia, Pa.) & James O’Sullivan (So., Nice, France), Georgetown
Lamm-Bocharov and J. O’Sullivan defeated Old Dominion’s Yanis Moundir and Zechariah Hamroun, 6-0, at No. 2 doubles.
