Marquette’s Lee Volker recorded 15 points and seven rebounds, followed by 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks from Skylar Forbes. Jaidynn Mason chipped in 11 points, eight boards, five assists, and two steals. Marquette held the Huskies scoreless for over four minutes in the first half, the longest UConn has gone without scoring to start a game this season. The Golden Eagles held UConn to its fewest number of points scored this season (71).

St. John’s extended its lead to 50-35 with a 7-2 run through the first five minutes of the fourth quarter. Butler answered by scoring seven unanswered points to get within 10 points (55-45). Providence had three players score double figures, including Sabou Gueye (17), Sophi Hall (15) and Teneisia Brown (14). Hall scored 12 of her points off a season-high four triples. The Hoyas went on a 7-0 run for a 48-45 advantage with 5:51 left in the contest. Providence took over the lead (56-54) at the 1:43 mark with a 3-pointer from Hall. With 4.8 seconds remaining, Georgetown lost an appeal without any timeouts left, which resulted in a technical foul. Gueye was sent to the foul line to go 1-for-2. She was sent back to the line and made both to secure Providence’s win.
BIG EAST to Provide Public Availability Reports for Men's and Women's Basketball
Beginning in the 2025-26 season, the BIG EAST Conference will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes in conference games for men's and women's basketball. BIG EAST schools will be required to submit these reports three hours before the scheduled tipoff. Under this reporting system, players will be designated as "questionable" or "out.” Availability reports will be posted on the BIG EAST website throughout the 2025-26 season.
