BIG EAST Player of the Week
Teddy Deters, Creighton, Gr., OF (Orono, Minn.)
Deters helped Creighton take the opening series at Saint Mary’s with a .364 average, home runs in the first two games and seven runs scored. The Bluejay outfielder collected at least one hit in each contest, contributed an outfield assist in the rubber game and delivered a .909 slugging percentage for the weekend. He also worked one walk in each contest, pushing his on-base percentage to .500, reaching safely in seven of 14 trips to the plate.
BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week
Mason Christopher, Seton Hall, So., LHP (Middletown, N.J.)
Christopher was dynamite in relief for the Pirates on Saturday in the win over Manhattan at the 2026 Puerto Rico Challenge. The lefty earned the win by working five innings out of the bullpen and striking out 10 batters. Overall he allowed four hits and allowed just one run in the outing.

Gavin Gilmore, Butler, Jr., OF
Gilmore was sensational in a 1-2 weekend hitting .571 on eight hits, with a home run, four RBI and two walks.
Cayden Suchy, UConn, So., LHP
Suchy struck out nine batters in six innings of work, allowing two runs against Kansas State.
Spencer Seid, Georgetown, Gr., LHP
Seid struck out six batters in five scoreless innings of an 8-3 win over Winthrop.
Jon LeGrande, St. John's, Sr. OF
LeGrande scored three runs and had four RBI, with one home run and two walks and four stolen bases.
Colin Quintano, Villanova, Sr., UTIL
Quintano had two home runs in a pair of games against FIU with two runs and three RBI.
Josh Stonehouse, Xavier, Fr., OF
Stonehouse batted .500 on the week with six hits and five runs scored in series win over East Caroline.
