Aedan Rendek, Butler, Jr.
Rendek placed fifth in the men’s 800 meters at the Alex Wilson Invitational, posting a time of 1:51.97.
BIG EAST Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Maeve O'Neill, Providence, Jr.
O’Neill won her heat in the 800 meters at the Saucony Battle for Boston, clocking a time of 2:00.33 to break her own indoor program record of 2:01.96. Her time ranks as the ninth-fastest in NCAA indoor history and eighth nationally this season. The mark also set the Irish senior indoor 800-meter record and met the qualifying standard for the World Championships.
BIG EAST Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Henrik Rosario, Marquette, Jr.
Rosario recorded a personal-best mark of 7.06 meters in the long jump to secure a top-five finish and later added a personal-best throw in the shot put at the Panther Tune-Up.
BIG EAST Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Megan White, Marquette, Jr.
White recorded a personal-best throw of 17.81 meters in the weight throw, moving her to No. 8 all-time in Marquette history and marking the Golden Eagles’ top women’s field performance of the day at the Panther Tune-Up.
Notable Performances
- Butler’s Edward Mumford placed second in the men’s high jump at the Alex Wilson Invitational, clearing a height of 1.88 meters.
- Creighton’s Natalee Gehred set a school record in the 200 meters (26.36) and ran the opening leg on Creighton’s 4x400-meter relay team that placed second in 4:13.33 at the Nebraska Tune-Up.
- Georgetown’s Charlotte Tomkinson, Jadah Fitzgerald, Charlotte Bell and Barrett Justema placed fourth in the DMR with a time of 11:01.75, marking the 12th-fastest time in program history. Their performance ranks 28th nationally and second in the BIG EAST this season.
- Xavier’s Brianna McIvor placed second in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:29.39 at the Wittenberg Invite.
