CHICAGO – The 2026 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships presented by JEEP get underway Friday at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center. Connecticut enters the weekend as the four-time reigning champion on both the men's and women's side. The Huskies will be looking to earn their 14^th title for the men and their seventh for the women.

Action begins at 11 a.m. CT on Friday with the first events of the heptathlon, followed by the start of pentathlon events at 11:30 a.m. Field events start at 1 p.m., and races begin at 1:45 p.m. 

Friday's running events will be trials in addition to the 5,000 meters and distance medley relay finals. Field events, races and the final events of the heptathlon all begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Starting with the mile at 11:30 a.m., all running events will be medal runs, commencing with the awards ceremony at 3:10 p.m. 

The Indoor Track & Field Championships will air live on ESPN+ this Friday and Saturday from Chicago. Anthony Mazzini and Kacy Standohar will provide two full days of coverage, beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT on Friday and 11 a.m. CT on Saturday.

On Wednesday following the championship, the all-conference team will be announced. The all-conference team includes all top three finishers in the meet.
