BIG EAST Player of the Week
Jackson Marshall, UConn, So., 1B (Hookset, N.H.)
Marshall led UConn to a 4-0 week, including a series sweep over Georgetown, batting 9-for-17 with 11 RBI and five runs scored. Marshall opened the week strong with a perfect 4-for-4 outing against Rhode Island, scoring a run, distributing three RBI and earning a walk. Over the three wins against Hoyas, he scored four runs and collected eight RBI with two home runs and a walk.
BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week
Jack Pineau, Creighton, Jr., RHP (Ontario, Canada)
Pineau delivered six shutout innings in the opening game of the series against Butler, notching eight strikeouts. He scattered six hits and one walk to move to 6-1 on the season. He needed just 92 pitches as he faced 25 hitters in the outing.

Charlie West, UConn, Jr., LHP
In eight innings of work, West struck out 13 batters and allowed just four hits and a walk, with one earned run of a 14-2 victory.
Teddy Deters, Creighton, Gr., OF
Deters led Creighton to a 4-0 week with a team-high seven RBI, batting 6-for-13 with three additional free bases.
Magnus Krieger, Seton Hall, So., OF
Krieger was essential as Seton Hall went 2-1 over the weekend against Villanova, hitting a team-best .500 with two home runs. Overall, he had six RBI and three runs scored.
Nick Romer, St. John’s, Fr., LHP
Romer made three appearances on the week, totaling 3.1 innings of relief, allowing just one run on three hits. He collected his first career win against Xavier, helping to clinch the series with a 1-2-3 inning in the 10
th.
Ayden Frey, St. John’s, Jr., INF
Frey slashed .400/.500/.611 on the week, scoring five runs, five RBI, two walks and three doubles on eight hits.
Matt Kahn, Villanova So., INF
Kahn pitched three scoreless innings in Sunday’s 11-6 win over Seton Hall, striking out six batters.
