STORRS, Conn. – The 2026 BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place from May 14-16 at Sherman Sports Complex on the campus of University of Connecticut. ESPN+ will cover the running events live starting 2 p.m. ET on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday. Adam Giardino will be on the call, with Ben Eskin conducting interviews. The Connecticut men and women have each won the previous four outdoor BIG EAST Championships, with the Huskies sweeping this season's indoor championship as well. The UConn men have nine outdoor titles to their credit, while the UConn women have six total outdoor meet victories.
The BIG EAST Championships feature 22 scored events. Action begins at 12 p.m. on Thursday with the first events of the heptathlon, while the decathlon begins at 1 p.m. Field events start at 3 p.m. along with the final events of the day starting at 8 p.m. on the track. Multi-events continue on Friday morning starting at 12 p.m., running events start at 2 p.m. and field events start at 3 p.m. On Saturday, the final day of events kicks off at 11 a.m. and concludes with the awards ceremony at 3:15 p.m.
