BIG EAST Men’s Singles Player of the Week
Jake Fellows, Sr., Georgetown (London, United Kingdom)
The reigning BIG EAST Player of the Year met the 2024 Sun Belt Freshman of the Year, No. 70 Connor Van Schalkwyk, as the Hoyas travelled to Old Dominion for the first match of the spring season. Playing at No. 1 singles, Fellows defeated the nationally ranked sophomore, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0.

BIG EAST Men’s Doubles Team of the Week
Alejandro Gandini (Sr., Santiago, Dominican Republic) & Yuma Daijima (Jr., Tokyo, Japan), Creighton
Gandini and Daijima opened the 2025 campaign with a pair of victories to help the Bluejays begin the season with back-to-back sweeps for the first time since 1989. The duo clinched the doubles point against St. Louis, defeating Valentin Vasques and Riki Koshimizu, 6-4, from the second position. The tandem then defeated Doane’s Andre Hartman and Julio Avila, 6-0, at No. 1 doubles to give Creighton a 1-0 lead in their second match of the weekend.
