NEW YORK – Xavier's Cayse Morgan was named BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week after he captured medalist honors at The People's Championship, held at the Sea Palms Golf Resort in St. Simon's Island, Ga. His finish helped lead the Musketeers to the team title at the event.

Morgan captured first place at The People's Championship, finishing the three-round, 54-hole tournament at 11-under par, with a total score of 202. Morgan opened competition with a first round 69, followed by a second round 66, and closing with a 67. The 202 total score and the second round 66 are season bests. It marks his third collegiate victory of the 2025-26 season and his first of the spring slate. He helped lead Xavier to the team title, winning by two strokes.
