BIG EAST Rocket League™ Tournament Bracket Set

NEW YORK – The 2022 Rocket League™ BIG EAST Championship is set to begin Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, with nine team’s vying for championship glory.
 
The full regular season slate consisted of eight conference matches, along with out of conference competition, with each BIG EAST team playing each other once. After fifteen weeks of competition and all 72 league games completed, the nine seeds were solidified on March 16. A full breakdown of the tournament bracket can be found HERE.

BIG EAST Competition in Rocket League is conducted as part of the Electronic Gaming Federation (EGF) Rocket League season.
 
Earning the top seed in the tournament and an opening round by is Seton Hall (13-2, 8-0 BIG EAST), as the Pirates won 24 out of a possible 26 matches in the best-of-three round robin style of play.
 
Both defeats came against Marquette on Feb. 23, as the Pirates edged the Golden Eagles 3-2, Marquette’s only regular season loss. Overall, Marquette (14-1, 7-1 BE) locked up the No. 2 seed winning 23 out of a possible 30 league rounds.
 
The Pirates will take on the winner of the play-in game between No. 8 St. John’s (5-10, 2-6 BE) and No. 9 Georgetown (3-12, 1-7 BE), while Marquette will face No. 7 Butler (8-7. 2-6 BE) in the opening round.
 
In the 3-6 game, UConn (11-4, 5-3 BE) is set to square off against Xavier (9-6, 3-5 BE), while No. 4 DePaul (10-5, 4-4 BE) matches up against No. 5 Villanova (6-8, 4-4 BE).
 
The BIG EAST Championship consists of a double-elimination bracket, with the grand final slated for Sunday at 3:15 p.m.
 
All games will be streamed between three Twitch channels, including twitch.tv/EGFrocketleague, twitch.tv/officialEGF and twitch.tv/officialEGF2.
