NEW YORK – Marquette’s Patrick Adler has earned BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honors for the second time in the fall season. He captured a share of medalist honors at the RedHawk Invite. With very limited competition on the women’s side, Female Golfer of the Week honors will return next week.

Patrick Adler, Marquette, Sr.
Adler earned a share of medalist honors and helped the Golden Eagles defend their team title at the RedHawk Intercollegiate. He tied a career low with a final round of 65 to push him pass teammate Max Lyons and into a share of medalist honors with Brycen Jones of Georgia Southern at 10-under par. Adler carded back-to-back 69s in the opening two rounds.
Men’s Notes –
Georgetown freshman CJ Winchenbaugh took third place at the Georgetown Intercollegiate which was played in Jersey City, N.J. Winchenbaugh posted a 2-over 215 (71-70-74). His play included 11 birdies over the three rounds…
UConn finished seventh at the Elon Phoenix Invite. The Huskies compiled a three-round total of 864 (+12). Junior Connor Goode record his third top-20 finish in three events this fall. He tied for 12
th place 2-under for the tournament, shooting 211 (71-73-67). His 67 in the final round was his best score in the fall. He’s posted five rounds at par or better…
Butler also competed in the RedHawk Intercollegiate, finishing 10
th. Derek Tabor led the Bulldogs by finishing in a tie for 21
st place at 1-over 214, which included a 3-under 68 in the final round…
St. John’s Peicheng Chen continued his strong fall season with a tie for third place at the Bucknell Invitational. The senior shot 1-under 209. In three tournaments this fall, Chen has two medalist performances and a third place finish. At Bucknell, the Red Storm took home the team title in an 18-team field. St. John’s shot a 15-over 855 for its first team crown since Oct. 21-22, 2022…
Marquette also got help at the RedHawk Intercollegiate from Max Lyons, who tied for third place at 205, and sophomore Ryan Banas, who carded two rounds of 69 and tied for 15
th place with a 1-under 212.
