NEW YORK – Butler’s Leo Zurovac has been named BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week. The BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week is St. John’s Xuan Khue Minh Doan. Zurovac was the medalist at the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational. Minh Doan was the runner-up at the Spring Break Invitational in Dade City, Fla.

Zurovac captured medalist honors at the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational in Indianapolis. He carded a 4-under 206, which was one stroke better than a quartet of runners-up and included teammate Derek Tabor. Zurovac climbed 13 spots on the leaderboard in the final round by firing a 5-under 65. After an opening-round 73, he posted scores of 68 and 65. The Bulldogs took first place in the team standings, 11 strokes ahead of second-place DePaul.

Xuan Khue Minh Doan, St. John’s, Jr.
Minh Doan took second place at the Spring Break Invitational Shootout at the Lake Jovita Golf Club in Dade City, Fla. The junior was even par or under par in all three rounds with scores of 70, 71 and 70. Her performance helped the Red Storm to a ninth-place finish in the team standings, shooting a 907 (+55).

Creighton junior Grant Feldman registered his fourth top-10 finish of the season to lead the Bluejays to a 12
th-place finish at the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational on the Chambers Bay Golf Course at University Place, Wash. Feldman tied for ninth after rounds of 72, 73 and 70 for a 215. Xavier competed in the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Pawley’s Island, S.C.
St. John’s won the team competition, carding a 54-hole score of 23-under 841. UConn was the runner-up, five strokes behind at 846 (-18). Connor Goode led the Huskies with a fourth-place finish. He was under par for all three rounds, shooting a season-low 8-under 208 (70-67-71). It was Goode’s third top-10 finish this season and his 67 was one stroke off his season low. Vikram Konanki tied for eighth at 1-under 210.
Xavier’s Carson Bellish was the top BIG EAST individual, placing third with a 9-under 207 in a field of 93 golfers. The junior has 11 career top-10 finishes and five career top-five finishes. The Musketeers were eighth in the team standings. The team title for
