BIG EAST Player of the Week
Jolie Adams, So., OF, DePaul
Adams hit a team-best .556, going 10-for-18 at the plate to lead the Blue Demons to an undefeated (6-0) weekend at the DePaul Dome Tournament. The sophomore logged six RBI and seven runs. Her 10 hits included two doubles and two triples for 16 total bases.
BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week
Hannah Messer, So., RHP, DePaul
Messer owned a 0.40 ERA with a 3-0 record as DePaul got off to its best start since 2016. The sophomore logged 17 strikeouts in 17.1 innings of work, holding opponents to a .177 batting average. In Saturday’s 6-4 victory over Detroit Mercy, Messer recorded a career-high eight strikeouts. Additionally, she went 2-for-4 at the plate including the first home run of her career in Saturday’s run-rule victory over Oakland [14-1(5)].
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Addy Poe, Fr., OF, DePaul
Poe went 8-for-19 (.421), with eight runs batted in and eight runs scored during her first collegiate weekend. The freshman logged a three-run inside the park home run in the fifth inning of Saturday’s game versus Detroit Mercy to give DePaul the 6-4 win. She also drew two walks and went 2-for-2 in stolen bases attempts while logging a clean weekend in the outfield with five putouts on five chances.

Makena Alexander, Jr., IF, Butler
Alexander hit .500, producing eight RBI off eight hits that included two home runs and two doubles at the UNI-Dome Classic.
Tara Vandewater, So., UT, Creighton
Vandewater went 6-for-13 with four runs scored and six RBI. She logged two home runs and a double at the Bearkat Classic.
Cameron Dunn, Jr., INF/C, Providence
Dunn hit .417 with two home runs and three RBI at the Aggie Classic. Her contributions included solo homers against No. 1 Texas Tech and No. 11 Texas A&M.
Natasha Limbani, Jr., INF/OF, St. John’s
Limbani went 7-for-16 with three RBI and four runs scored. The junior hit a two-run walk off home run to lift the Red Storm past Siena in the season opener (8-7).
Ana Serafinko, Sr., P, St. John’s
The reigning BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year owned a 1.34 ERA and a 2-0 record with 24 strikeouts in 15.2 innings of work at the Charleston Invitational. She threw a complete game against Charleston Southern (W, 6-0), striking out 11 without allowing a run.
