NEW YORK -- The 2026 BIG EAST Women’s Golf Championship presented by JEEP is set for April 25-27 at the Callawassie Golf Club.

Xavier is seeking its seventh straight BIG EAST title, dating back to 2019.  The Musketeers' six all-time conference crowns are the most by any BIG EAST team.   The conference's team champion will receive the league’s automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Championship. The individual medalist also earns an NCAA Championship invitation.

Play begins on Saturday, April 25, at 8 a.m. ET. Saturday’s first-round threesomes will be determined by team seedings, while Sunday and Monday’s groupings will be determined from the previous day’s leaderboard. Seven BIG EAST Schools participate in women’s golf: Butler, Creighton, Georgetown, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Xavier - and in its inaugural season - Providence.

For the fourth straight year, GKLive.TV will provide online coverage of the Tournament. There are no subscription fees to watch the event.  Live scoring throughout the BIG EAST Championship will be available via ScoreboardLive, powered by Clipped.

Xavier enters the 2026 BIG EAST Championship ranked No. 72 on the NCAA Division I team rankings. The Musketeers own two top-three and seven top-five finishes this season.  The best finish of the season so far came at the Rio Verde Collegiate from Feb. 20-22, where Xavier placed second in the 18-team field.

Madison Reemsnyder - the 2025 BIG EAST runner-up - leads the team in stroke average, at 72.4 (27 total rounds).  She captured the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational on April 18 and has posted two top-five and four top-10 finishes this season.  Isabel Brozena ranks second in stroke average (73.0) in 27 rounds played.  She has logged two wins this season - the Valspar Augusta Invitational on March 15 and the WMU Rio Verde Invite on Feb. 22.

Georgetown has been runner-up on the team leaderboard for the past four seasons.  The Hoyas have won the BIG EAST Championship twice (2017, 2018) and turned in 10 runner-up performances all-time, including five of the last six championships.

Georgia Ruffolo - 15th a season ago at the BIG EAST Championship - leads the way for Georgetown this season, ranking first on the team in stroke average, at 74.9.  Her best individual finish came at the Rutgers Invitational on April 11-12, placing 10th overall.  Mimi Burton (76.6) is second in scoring average and was 15th at the Rutgers Invite.

Butler has registered three team wins and six top-three finishes in 2025-26.  Most recently, the Bulldogs won the Lady Jaguar Invite on April 18.  They posted back-to-back victories in the fall - at the University of Dayton Invite on Oct. 13-14 and at the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic on Oct. 5-6.

Treva Dodd - a three-time BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week - has paced the Bulldogs so far this season.  In 31 total rounds, Dodd has registered a 75.0 scoring average - with two wins during the fall - and three top-three finishes.  Addi Kooi has also made an impact during the 2025-26 campaign, placing third in the Lady Jaguar Invite on April 18.

St. John’s has been led by Kelly Wu and Lily Huynh this season.  Both Red Storm golfers have earned medalist honors this season, as Wu took first place at the Albany Great Danes Invite in October and Huynh led the way at the St. John's Invitational.  The Red Storm won its home event on April 6-7 and has earned three top-three finishes as a team so far this season.

Through 25 rounds of play, Wu - a two-time BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week - leads the squad in stroke average (76.0).  Huynh - who won conference weekly honors on April 9 - ranks second on the Red Storm in scoring (76.9).

Creighton has had at least one Top 10 golfer at the BIG EAST Championships each of the previous six league championships, including Katherine Marshall's tie for 10th last year. The only other league school with such an active streak is Xavier.  The best finish of the spring for Creighton came in its last tournament, placing fifth at the Stampede at the Creek on April 13-14.

The Bluejays are led by Morgan Becker (76.5) and Julia Karmazin (76.8), who rank first and second respectively in scoring average.  Karmazin earned BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week on two occasions.

Seton Hall's Marta Aguilar is a two-time winner and three-time BIG EAST weekly award honoree in 2025-26.  The sophomore captured the Rutgers Invitational on April 11-12 and the Space Coast Classic on Feb. 21-22.  In 24 rounds of competition, she has recorded a 73.7 scoring average.  She tied for third overall at last season's BIG EAST Championship.

The Pirates placed fourth a season ago at the conference Championship and won the BIG EAST title three consecutive years from 2014 through 2016.

Providence is playing its inaugural season in women's golf in 2025-26.

The Friars are led by Gwendolyn Yarnall, who has played in all 24 rounds this season with a 79.1 scoring average.  She enters BIG EAST Championship play with a pair of back-to-back top-five individual finishes at the St. John's Invitational and the Stonehill Senior Showdown.
